Senior Project Leader & Functional Analyst

What does your day look like?

As a project leader & functional analyst, you are the glue that holds the project together. You will have full responsibility for delivering to one of our strategic clients.

• Client partnership & communication: You are the central point of contact for our (inter)national clients. You maintain a strong, proactive relationship with key stakeholders and communicate daily in fluent English or Dutch.

• Functional analysis & scope: You translate client requirements into clear, unambiguous use cases together with the development team. You analyze new requirements (post-production), complete specifications, and monitor the scope. You have the mandate to determine: what is a change request and what is not?

• Quality & delivery: You are the guardian of our quality. You test and validate the applications at a functional level, proactively follow up on issues, and ensure that the user documentation is always up-to-date for a seamless delivery.

• Project & team coordination: You continuously balance the 'iron triangle' (budget, features, and quality). You attend sprint reviews and planning sessions and help the independent team set the right priorities. You coordinate daily with the development team and weekly with the project management on the status.

What are we looking for?

Your skills

• You are a communicative and diplomatic partner for the client. You can manage expectations, say 'no' (or 'yes, but') and build a constructive relationship.

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a hybrid role as a project leader, functional analyst, product owner, or IT consultant.

• You speak and write excellent Dutch & English.

• You work fully autonomously, are proactive, and naturally take ownership of 'your' project.

• You have a strong analytical ability and can quickly grasp complex processes.

• Experience working in the public sector is a strong advantage.   

• You have an analytical background, but in-depth technical 'analytics' experience is not required for this role. We are looking for a coordinator, not a data scientist.

Your language skills  

• You have a good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.

• A good command of the French language is a plus.

Your degree

• Professional bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
