Job description
As a Functional Analyst within our Metix solutions, you will thoroughly examine the client's business processes and translate them into concrete solutions. You don't limit yourself to writing analyses: you think along, set up together, and ensure that the configuration of the solution perfectly matches the client's daily practice.
As a Functional Analyst, you will perform the following tasks:
You gather business requirements from the client and translate them into detailed functional designs for custom solutions.
You organize workshops to understand the client's needs and ensure the documentation of requirements.
You write user stories and create detailed functional specifications for software development.
You work closely with a team of developers and software architects to design technical solutions that meet the functional requirements.
You validate functional designs through testing and quality control.
You ensure clear and up-to-date documentation of functional specifications.
You support the implementation team during project execution and contribute to the successful delivery of the solution.
Job requirements
Your technical skills
You have a natural analytical way to understand business, technical, and organizational requirements, drivers, and challenges in different sectors
You are passionate about optimizing and automating complex business processes with innovative IT solutions
You have experience as an analyst (business or functional).
You have knowledge and experience with Scrum/Agile development process and service design principles.
You have experience with modeling/specifications of business and requirements (e.g., UML, BPMN, DMN, logical Data model, service design, User stories, UI mockups…).
Experience as a project manager/product owner is a plus
Your soft skills
You focus on the solution; you are well-organized, structured, and accurate.
You have excellent communication skills and can discuss both technical and business aspects.
You are a real team player and do not hesitate to ask for advice or help.

Your language skills
You have a good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
A good command of the French language is a plus.
Your degree
Professional bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
