What does your day look like exactly?
Are you strong in structure, do you like overview, and are you interested in IT, projects, and security? Then this is an ideal entry-level role for you.
As a Junior Project Manager, you start in a PMO role (Project Management Officer), where you support project teams and help ensure projects run smoothly and predictably. This is your primary focus and typically accounts for 3/4 of your time. Additionally, you have an active role as an Information Security Assistant, where you contribute to our security and compliance initiatives (e.g., NIS2, ISO 27001).
This role is intentionally designed as a growth function: you start in a supporting role but gradually move towards more project responsibility.
PMO & Project Support
Supporting project managers in monitoring IT and software projects
Keeping track of project schedules, milestones, risks, and action points
Preparing and documenting project and steering group meetings
Creating and maintaining project documentation and reporting
Monitoring processes, templates, and project standards
Invoicing for project activities and service level agreements
Information Security Assistant
Supporting information security and compliance initiatives
Assisting in monitoring measures related to NIS2, ISO 27001, and internal security policies
Keeping track of risk analyses, action plans, and documentation
Supporting audits, assessments, and awareness initiatives
Point of contact for simple security and compliance questions internally
Growth towards Project Management
Gradually taking on your own (part) projects
Contributing to project planning, scope, and stakeholder management
Advancing to a full-fledged Junior Project Manager role

What are we looking for?
Your technical skills
Interest in project management and information security
Affinity with IT or willingness to learn IT jargon
1-2 years of experience in a supporting project, PMO, or IT role
You don't need to be a know-it-all: eagerness to learn and structure are more important than experience.
Nice to have (but not required):
Basic knowledge of project management (Agile, Scrum, Prince2, ...)
Interest or initial exposure to ISO 27001 / NIS2 / IT security
Experience with Microsoft tools (Teams, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Sharepoint...)
Your soft skills
Strong organizational and communication skills
Structured, precise, and reliable
You are not afraid to ask questions and take responsibility
Your degree
Bachelor's or master's degree (IT, business administration, business studies, engineering...)
Your language proficiency
Good command of Dutch and English, French is a plus.
